How do I make my buddy list use Yahoo ID's instead of real names?

I am just having a serious brain fart here! My Yahoo messenger list used to list all my buddies by their Yahoo ID's and now they are all listed by their REAL first names and such... I liked it better the other way, so I'm wondering how to change it back? I've been clicking things and trying to research it, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out... can anyone help?

1. There should be an option in your messenger's drop down menu, look under preferences, then under appearance. Down at the bottom of that box, there's the option to choose whether your contacts appear with yahoo id or their nicknames/first and last name. Click which option you choose, then choose apply to save that setting.
