I want to put all Chinese business information listed on a Chinese yellow page on line.Is it legal? I am in US

That Chinese yellow page lists Chinese businesses in several states (mainly phone numbers and names, some of them have pictures and descriptions). So is it legal for me to put that online and do some kind of web advertising for those businesses later? Many many thanks! Do I have to call each businesses to make sure they want their names and phone numbers listed on my website? Many many thanks!

1. yes you need permission
2. The "yellow pages" is published by a business entity. You cannot copy any of the information in it without permission of the publisher. Then you need the permission of the business owner.
