There is no right answers, but I would like to know in everyone's opinions who are the top 10 rappers currently alive. Here is my list, don't hate: 1. Jay-Z (Young Hov's earned it and he's at the top of the game. One of the only rappers to go in the booth with B.I.G. and other legends. He's been in the game for 12 years and he still hasn't cooled off. Every album presents new flair and material just when you thought he couldn't think of anything else.) 2. Eminem (The flow of oregeno and this guy just seems to spew out emotion every verse. A crowd favorite and house hold name for a reason. If you retire for a while and people still wonder when your going to come back then you must be good.) 3. Nas (A legendary feud with Jay-Z and re-unites years later. Nas is lyrically out of this world. Untitled or Nigger as you may call it, was a bold statement to those who listened to it that there is still struggles with the black community amongst this world that needs to be corrected. He made classics such as If I Ruled the World (Imagine That) and The World is Yours. Probably two of the best songs I ever heard.) 4. 50 Cent (Even though I personally don't think he is good lyrically, 50 derserves to be on here for the flamboyant atitude he brings to the game. I personally like every song he's made and if he can put singles up from a motion picture soundtrack and make some appear on a billboard that shows talent.) 5. The Game (Protege of the D.R.E., The Game is almost a clone of Dre. If you ask me he's even better than Dre could imagine. Better flow, better lyrically structure and he'll work with more people to make a beat. Wether L.A.X. was his last album or not, this guy will go down to be remembered.) 6. Kanye West (Only three albums and already amazing. Maybe he doesn't have Jigga man's flow and fast mouth but he honestly to me is beyond Jay's level of lyrics and I quote "I'm just saying come home Mona Lisa you know you can't Rome without Caesar". Graduation is the best album I ever purchased. Every song on there could easily be a single.) 7. Lupe Fiasco (Young and supposebly already done with his career after his third album? If you can be reconized after two albums and be nagged about your third your definately living with your head in the sky and taking ideas from up there. Lyrically genious.) 8. Dr. Dre (One of the first to do the westcoast hip hop style, Dre is most definately a great. Classic beats with Snoop D-O double G. Can't wait until Detox.) 9. Snoop Dogg (Who doesn't love Snoop. He continues to spit rhymes and flows that make your head spin. Although Ego Trippin was a little "Trippin" out, I have confidence that Snoop can step back in the game. I mean he was great back in the day and he still is, he just doesn't seem that "on". 10. Ludacris (Who doesn't love Luda, with his awesome stop and go pace making flows and funny lines. Snagging the 10th spot because he deserves it. He's keeping active and getting guest spots in albums still and still disturbing the peace.) -Honorable Mention- -Young Jeezy (A good rapper but still hasn't earned his cut....to me The Recession was a dissapointment.) -Ice Cube (A great rapper but hasn't really had many great hits. I mention him here just because of his credibility on being in N.W.A. and Raw Footage being 10/10 for a comeback.) -T.I. (He'll get there but just like Jeezy, he's still young and has to work out some kinks. Paper Trail was good be he seems to be turning into a commercialized rapper.) -DMX (One of my favorites. Truely a "dog", but he just doesn't seem to have many hits alike Ice Cube. Being around this long I'd think he might already have at least 10 good singles. We'll have to wait for Walk With Me Now to see if the saying is true or not that old dogs really don't learn new tricks.) -Common (A lyrical genious, but has yet to win some attention for the work he has done and is bipolar in means of hot albums. Electrical Circus is a good example.) -Rick Ross (Correctional Officer or not The Bo$$ has an unbeatable swagger and unique flow that makes everyone listening know his barritone voice. Time will tell if Ricky Ross becomes what he hopes.)
