I need a wedding to do list, please help?

My lovely girlfriend and I recently got engaged and are planning a wedding 2 years out, so probably fall 2010. Could I please get a list of things we should remember to do and when to accomplish them. Any help would be great

  1. You can go to tietheknot.com and will give you a check list on what you'll need and how many days you have to do it etc... its very helpful i'm using it myself. Congratz
  2. Try using... http://wedding.theknot.com ... Its a great site, and if you enter your wedding date (or any date around the time you plan to wed) it will tell him everything you need to do, and when these things should be done. It also can help you sort your budget, and many other things.
  3. My "to-do" list was on the Bed Bath and Beyond website. I registered there and the woman that helped me set up my registry told me about the checklist as well as a guest list and wedding website that people can check out when they view your registry. Also, I went to Google.com and typed in wedding checklist and time line and found numerous sites that had different ideas for tasks and when they should be completed. I suggest finding one as soon as possible so if there is anything you will be doing that isn't on the list you can add it manually as soon as you think of them as some of them aren't always as detailed as some brides like to be and some are overkill.
  4. Hi, first of all, congratulations :) I'm just about to have my wedding ceremony in 2 weeks. So, I guess I can help you out here. But I suggest, you appoint a wedding organizer, coz this will save most of your time and they have experiences. And before I start off, collect your documents for the civil register (thats the important one) The lists should be : 1. The wedding dress and your tux 2. The place where you want your wedding be held 3. The decoration 4. The menu of the food and wine maybe 5. The priest for the ceremony 6. The list of people invited And thats all... oh, don't forget your wedding ring ;)
  5. Go to brides.com and create an account (its free!) It has a checklist of what to do and when to do it. They also have tons of pictures to give you ideas with flowers, invites, etc. And they also have a cool feature to create your own wedding website (also free). Good luck and congrats!
  6. My to-do list that I've been using came out of the Bridal Guide magazine - you can buy one at any store (WalMart, Walgreens, Kroger, etc.). Also, if you go to www.rexcraft.com and ask them to send you a free catalog, they have a great checklist inside it too. Another option is to buy some of the wedding planning software out there for about $20-30. I did this as well and have found it very helpful in keeping up with my guest list, appointments, vendor information, etc. Good luck!
  7. Try using http://www.weddingwire.com. If you log in (for free) you'll get an excellent to-do list and when you're ready to look for vendors you can type in exactly what you're looking for and Wedding Wire will set you up with vendors that match your criteria!
  8. sign up on theknot.com they have a wonderful planning site and a check list and dates to have items done by
