- household good you need like new dishes, towels
- things you need for your new house/apt, things you're BOTH gonna need for your household.
- It's not to early to start getting your registry together. It's a time consuming chore if you put time into it. The type of things depend on what you will need or want for your new home. Random ideas: everyday dishes, china, flatware, drinking glasses, toaster, cooking utensils, pots and pans, baking dishes, sheets, towels, bathmats, accent rugs, accent pillows, folding table, folding chairs, lamps, or anything you might be able to use for your new home.
- Cutlery China Towels Linens Pots Pans Glassware Small appliances (kettle etc)... Stuff for your marital home Register any time you want, but only tell people about the registry around the time your invitations go out (unless they ask beforehand)
- If you go to a store like Bed Bath and Beyond, they have a jumpstart registry list where they'll automatically put certain items on there if you want, then you can take them off later if you don't want certain ones. The websites, like BB&B and Target have most popular registry items listed, so you can see what other couples most commonly register for. I would go ahead and register now, just so you have that out of the way. You don't have to tell people about it yet unless they ask. Plus if you change your mind on things, you can always add or subtract items online anytime you want.
- The stores already have the list made on the register. You just pick the things you want. Make sure you pick the basics first and then pick a few want haves. You want to pick colors that match your home. And if china is on the list have it picked out ahead of time.
- wish you a happy married life list all the needy things to start a family
- pretty much anything you want. Sheets, comforters, kitchen appliances, kitchen accessories... just don't register for a honeymoon. That is an incredibly BAD idea.
- If this is your first home don't forget "taking care of the house/yard" items like a garden hose, garden tools, power drill, tool set (hammer, screwdrivers, etc.). Even think about things like smoke decetors and extingishers. Are there any big items you would like, like a gas grill and a fire pit? Sometimes groups of people go together for a present and they want to get something large. Good luck to you!
- Anything you want for your house that you won't want to spend personal money on. Toiletries (such as bath towels, bath rugs, wash clothes, toothbrush holders, etc.), things for the kitchen, things for the garden, tools for the groom, a set of china (this is the only time in your life people will actually be willing to buy you china!), etc. It is also acceptable to put gift cards on your registry.
- Be realistic in the fact that not a lot of people have a lot to spend...so get stuff like place settings--I recommend Corelle that are really nice looking and sturdy towels--bath and kitchen; you can never have enough towels! kitchen stuff--utensils, cook wear, glasses etc. Crock-pots toasters waffle irons just general stuff you need to function in your home. Just be aware of the price of stuff you are requesting unless a group of pepole is buying you a gift or you have a rich relative the high dollar stuff probably won't be bought. I personally don't go off the register I have a candle poem that I give. But then again I like to give something special and unique. Congrats and best of luck in your marriage
- pots pans dishes serving pieces to go w/dishes small appliances sheets towels place mats blankets throw rugs baking dishes picture frames kitchen gadgets
- If your wedding is in April you should probably start soon (plus the holiday season is coming and people may want to give you holiday gifts from your registry as well). You should put a variety of things on your registries.... stuff you think you need and stuff that you just want. I would think about each room and get an idea of the things that your need first. Such as kitchen (place settings, flatware, appliances, dish towels, glasses, cookware, ect) bathroom (towels, wash clothes, shower curtain, accessories, ect) bedroom (nice sheets, blankets, bedspread, pillows, ect) ... You can also add things like picture frames and decorative stuff. I put a variety of things on mine and even included the not so fun stuff like an iron, laundry baskets, hampers, and hangers! Just remember this is your wish list and you can put whatever you want on it. Have fun and congrats on your upcoming marriage!
- linens, sheets, dishes, glasses, flatware, serving dishes, cookware, small appliances, spices with rack, knives, wall mirror are some examples. I also included small furniture (side table, lamps) because I just bought a house.
- Any gift that you both can appreciate. Here's a quick list: - Honeymoon Spending Money - Massages - Dinner for 2 - Painting - Books - Wine - Furniture - Luggage - Camera - Kitchenware - Concert tickets - Weekend away - Picnic basket - Glassware - Bikes - Plants - Donation to a charity - House deposit - Honeymoon expenses
