How are people making money off of Craig's List?

I've heard that this is a neat little part-time business-- buying and selling on Craig's list, but frankly I've never used CL and I can't see how it's being done successfully, like on eBay or whatever....

1. They buy and sell goods and services. You'd find something people want. I know a lady who buys old exercise videos in thrift shops for $1 each and sells them in bundles of 10, for more than she paid for them.
