Could somebody give me a list of software that converts AVI to MP4?

Hi I need a peice of software that can do this so I can sync movies from my pc to my Ipod Touch, can you people perhaps give me a list of the best software that can do this? I need a good Quality one to do the job. Thanks much appreciated...
