Is there a software that can help me create a simple program for finding information on a long list?

I have a long list of comments. There are three variables that define each comment. For instance: a is good, b is good, c is bad; a is good, b is bad, c is good, etc. I want a software that will allow me to arrive at a specific comment after I enter those three variables. Help!
