how do I import a generic contact list into Yahoo?

I have an ordered list of names, numbers and emails that I want to import to my Yahoo contacts. I can organize it any way needed, but I don't know how Yahoo wants to organize the data. Any help?

1. ►Sign in to an updated version of Yahoo Messenger. ►Click on Contacts on top of the tool bar, and then click on Import Contacts. You will get a list of platforms what you can import address books from. When you have your contacts on Yahoo already it is easy to organize it in different folders or groups the following way. ►Click on Contacts again, and click on Manage Groups, then Create a Group. When you have the new group...you can move contacts by .following same steps as above, just by clicking on moving to group. Good luck!
