Has anyone heard of a website that generates book lists for you based on books you've recently read?

In one of my classes one of my classmates was talking about a website that offers book recommendations based on books that you've read recently. Does anyone have the link? Ten points to the first one who posts the correct link!

  1. I haven't heard of it (so I'll be checking back to see, lol) But amazon does something like that... if you make an account & go through & rate books you've read based on how much you like them, and indicate which ones you own etc... it generates a list of recommendations based on what other people like and what those people rate or purchase. :) That's where I get most of my recommendations.
  2. Well, www.librarything.com generates two lists, one automatic and one based on reader recommendations. You do have to sit there and input all the books you've read. There's also www.whatshouldireadnext.com.
  3. I'm not sure, but I think librarything.com does that. I'd have to check though.
  4. This may be the site your classmate meant. It's down at the moment but try it again later.
  5. Amazon.com will recommend books based on your buying/browsing history, but that may not be it.
  6. There's also www.IsThisBookWorthReading.info. You can add comments and your favorite books, too.
