How do I separate a list of definitions? Do I use a semicolon?

In my paper I have to come up with my own definition for three journalism concepts. I introduce the definitions by saying "...the following definitions can be constructed:" Do I use a semicolon to separate the definitions? So, do I say - "...constructed: Def A; Def B; Def C?" Also, if I DO use a semicolon, do I capitalize the first letter of each letter starting after the semicolon? Oops, sorry. "First letter of each sentence."
