Where are there high definition movie theaters?

Can someone tell me where there is a list of high definition movie theater locations (or theaters that have comparable technology) Do me a favor and don't split hairs, if there is something like DLP or those Project RED projectors or 3D or something cool out there that isn't like regular movie theaters (and preferably in the New York City vicinity) it would be really appreciated, Thanks in advance! What I mean by splitting hairs is I know there will be someone who says "There aren't High Def theaters stupid, they use a type of projector that is four times the resolution than your high def television." or something like that... Well then great dummy, tell me where they are!! That's what I mean.

1. The resolution of films is greater then even HDTV. You might want to check out http://www.imax.com/ for an even better movie experience though.
