How do I make a template with Excel?

I'm trying to make a weekly meal plan to include all days of the week, a dinner category and a space for a grocery list. For some reason Excel has four spreadsheets open. Can someone please tell me how to set it up? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

  2. A lot of templates already exist - it might be easier to find one that will work rather than create your own.
