what are people selling their kids baby/toddler clothes for?

want to do a garage sale soon. Was wondering how much people sold their kids garage sale clothing for? Was going to go for 2 for a dollar but seen a lot of people on crags list selling their kids clothing for $1 an item or more. what do you parents think.

1. i think 2 for $1 would be great. u are bound to sell alot more that way
2. People on craigslist list their stuff for a lot sometimes. From a mom who shops craigslist and the yard sales, I can tell you that if you sell the stuff a little cheaper 2 for $1, people will be more likely to buy and will buy more and you will make money and get rid of your stuff faster. My sister and I had a yard sale this summer at my house. She put her stuff on one side of the yard and I put mine on the other. She had more stuff and asked for more money per item. I had less stuff, it was more "junk" than her stuff, and I sold it all for less per item. I made 3 times as much money as she did. And I was really happy. I made more money than I had hoped to. She was mad because she thought she'd make a fortune and didn't. Plus it saves you from having to haul it back inside after and still be stuck with it because it didn't sell. Good luck with your sale.
