Is there a website that lists work-at-home/home biz scams (name/URL) verified by BBB or government agencies?

In my research, I've found a lot of sites that claim to have reviewed various opportunities and list them as a scam or earn affiliate commission by recommending them. I'm not interested in those types of site. I'm looking for a resource that actually investigates or otherwise proves legitimacy or not and provides the name, description, URL and such of the offending business.

  1. if there is, probably it won't be accurate because scams are being thought of evryday
  2. I don't believe there has ever been a list made of such. Certainly would cause a lot of controversy though for those who were in scams and didn't want to believe it. ~jennifer Helping others create income from home through education of the system and how it really works.
  3. Ripoff.com is a real nice site.
  4. The only source that I know of for finding a legitimate home-based business is to check out Direct Selling Association (DSA) at http://www.dsa.org. DSA is the national trade association of the leading firms that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers. If they are listed in the DSA, it is legit. If not, good luck!
  5. his is something that is not in place. The best way to find out if they are with the BBB online or other credible affiliate is to check at the bottom of their website and than follow up with the BBB or other agency listed under that site. You should check out forums and list the business(s) you are interested in and see if it is working for its members. Also, check these sites consumer-rated, gold-rated and any other consumer rated sites.
