How do I get a free list of e-mail addresses?

I'm going to be sending e-mails I'm going to be sending a bunch of emails soon to promote my online store and was wondering if there was a free email directory that I could have access to. Is there a public email access database online??

1. There is a web site to look up someones email address, but to get a list of the addresses you would need to talk to a spammer, because that's what it would be, It would be spam. Unsolicited mail.
