What are all the things to do to get ready for prom?

i'm going to prom in may (as a sophomore haha so i dont know much), and i wanted to know what are all the things you can do to get ready for it! i know to get a dress, shoes, get hair done etc., and i could probably think of a million things but i wanted to know your guys' opinions of all the things you can do to prepare so i can set up a list. thanks! :)
