How to add the contact lists for sharing video in YouTube?

I asked how to share a video early. Someone has answered but I still could not get it. I went My Videos > Select Video > Edit > Chose Private. However, the message indicates "You do not have any contact lists to share with." I guess the problem is that I have no contact lists so that I am unable to share with, right? If so, can anyone tell me how I add the contact lists to share the video with my friends online by the link/URL without signing in?

1. You cannot share the video because it's private. You cannot share when you're not signed in. That's all I can tell because that's all I understand.
2. You cannot share videos without initiating session, you need to have the account activated to realize it.
