Should Siddhartha be put in the book banned list for school reading?

Should students have to read Siddhartha for one of their school readings? Some Siddhartha should be banned because it's some religious and sexual. Give reasons to support your reasoning.

1. If you read the book, it should come for you. yes, there is prostitution in it but in the end they somewhat love each other after she dies. Religion wise, of course it is. siddhartha is questioning religion! the very nature of humanity to believe in a greater force! it was unheard of (other than the Buddha) at the time. You have to answer though, does all this make it too controversial?
