please help me find Section 8 housing lists for houses, and duplexes?

1. What city are you in ? State ? etc. Each place has different rules. First thing would be to check at the housing authority office, they do have lots of listings from landlords contracting with them and sometimes they have a few apartments/houses for rent under the section 8 contract...listed at the office. Also check with rental offices...like Real Estate offices, some of them have section 8 listings ...(lists of landlords that accepts section 8 tennants). In some places it's hard to find a vacant place because they are hard to find, it is very competitive and tennants on section 8 rarely move out. Also check the nespapers or drive by the area you want to live in, and copy the phone number and call the landlords or the managers and ask them if they have any available apartment and if they contract with the housing authority and take section 8 tennants.
