List of themes of a book about a persons life in Auschwitz?
I read the book If I should die before I wake by Han Nolan, and I am being asked to establish the theme of the book?? Can someone list some of the themes that could be for this book. BTW the book is about a concentration camp called Auschwitz.

- I haven't actually read that book, but maybe a theme could be something like "Don't take life for granted," "Use every experience to help others," or "Never lose faith or hope in desperate situations." Remember a theme is a lesson of a story so try to think of something you found to be used or associated with throughout the book.
- Possible themes: Sure Sucks being a European Jew these Days. Being a Gypsy: Less Romantic than You'd Think Gay, and Dead Earlier Than Some Facetious, of course. The theme of any book about a concentration camp should be fairly obvious. What did the shared experience, horrific as it was, show about human nature?
