Marketing Business Pricing and commissions? Please help!?
Hi there, I'd appreciate any experienced people helping me out here. I want to know how much commission is normal to take when being an agent for web designers- (eg, finding clients for them as I can not do the web side of marketing, only the other areas, so I outsource web design), how much commission is fair for me to take for each referred client? Also, any information / links on pricing for marketing services would be greatly appreciated. I need to put together a price list and I am baffled as to what price to do things- also, hourly rate? Or set service price? Thank you for your suggestions!

- Find a web design firm and negotiate that is the name of the game. Most top web design firms don't hire 3rd party marketers because it not only subtracts from their pay but word of mouth is already brings them it. For up and coming firms and smaller firms it will vary some will be kind to give something higher then 25% most will likely be ok with 25% but most will probably give you 10% really depends on how big the project is if its like $400 whats it worth really after all the expenses of being in business today and the time involved. You have more wiggle room more so then the designer you can get clients for multiple projects at a time and you have more free time so 10% may not be bad for you if you can work on volume. Web Projects take time to finish.
