Do I have to be in the Detroit area to post an ad in the Detroit area on Craig's list?

I am trying to post a house for rent in Oakland County (Detroit Metro Area) and I can only access it through a link that was sent to my emaiI. When I search on Craig's list It does not show.

1. No, you can be anywhere. Remove the old post and post it again using different wording. Someone may have flagged it and they removed it.
