Any apartemnts in the Bronx with Section 8?

In my last question people made fun of my mother for having section 8. Also i didn't have a lot of information. My mother is not in the waiting list she has section 8 already. All she needs is to find an apartment with section 8. We live in Manhattan and we want to live in the Bronx. So please anything that will help will be just fine atleast you gave infromation.

1. I won't make fun of your mother. It doesn't surprise me that some of the most ignorant responses come from so-called "experts" on yahoo answers. You should contact your local section 8 office and ask for a listing of landlords who will accept section 8. They normally keep a list on hand. Otherwise, you will have to do what everyone else does when they need a place. Drive around, look in the classified section of the newspaper, http://craigslist.org and ect. When you call the landlord, simply ask if they accept section 8. If she is not on the waiting list, it is all about finding a vacancy. Be realistic about where you want to go. High class neighborhoods are not likely to accept section 8 vouchers. Good Luck on your search. It's the "Bronx". I am more than sure your mom will find something! :)
