Is there any book which lists labor productivity for various construction activities? e.g block work, plaster?
I mean how much plaster a plasterer does in an hour, a mason lays block work in an hour etc. etc.

- Look at MEANS construction data books, or look at SAILOR construction data book. These books list production rates.
- There are many books and even computer programs that estimate labor for various construction activities but none of them are accurate for all conditions, places and circumstances. They all must be calibrated to fit the situation you are trying to estimate. Bottom line, proceed with caution when you try to use these type of estimators.
- you will get all the details in the following books. 1. Hand book of civil engineering by Khanna, 2. Estimating and costing by Datta, 3. estimating and costing by Patil. these books are available in the books where you get enggg. books.
