what is the yahoo online list?

i probably sound really stupid but in my yahoo mail it says that someone has requested to add me to their online list... what is that? lol im new with yahoo ive been using hotmail btw i do know the person that added me

1. That means they have added you on yahoo messenger...download yahoo messenger and you'll come to know what it is
2. when you see someone on here, who you like there questions or even answers, you can add them to you contact list. i think this is what you are talking about. evidently someone seen you in Q&A and request that you be on their contact list....thus that email. if you scroll down in your profile here....you will see the contact. hope i helped
