How do I uninvite people on my contact list to be on my online list in Yahoo Messenger?
I accidentally invited everyone in my Yahoo Mail contact list to be on my online list in Yahoo Messenger - the request was sent before I had realised what I did. My Yahoo Mail contact list is full of people I definitely don't want receiving that request from me. Is there any way to retract the invite or to stop people being on my online list if they accept my request? By the way I am not not getting the option for slealth settings, I only get the option to add the contact to my online list, nothing to delete them from my online list. Do I need to update my version of mail? I'm using the Beta version

- *****If they accept your request as soon as you see them on your list just block them...hope that helps*****
- Do the following on your Yahoo Messenger list: To each of your contacts you don't want to be on your Messenger list, right click on the contact name/id, then click 'Stealth Settings', click 'Permanently offline to xxxxx'. Write down their Yahoo id's. Click 'Messenger' tab, then click 'Preferences', then click 'Ignore List'. Click the 'Add' button, and type in the name of your contact. Click 'OK' when done. Having done the above, the ignored contacts will not be able to see you 'online' and they won't be able to send you IMs ever!!
