Is it safe to buy a cell phone from Craig's List?

I'm looking to buy a new cell phone. And I found a Samsung Instinct on Craig's List for only $40. Now, it's located a few hours away from me. So do you think it's safe to have the seller ship it to me, and I pay with my credit card? Thanks!

2. For something like Craig's list which has been around for a while, you would expect it to be quite reputable. However when was the last time you heard about eBay or Amazon related fraud? Best advice: If it is too good to be true, you are getting ganked.
