I am looking to buy mailing lists of people interested in operating a multilevel networking business from home?

The problem I am having is that I need lists of people who are interested in the area of health and wellness. Are there specific lists out there targeting this group of people? Are these lists expensive?

2. Direct mail is probably the worst way to go about recruiting. Peak Impact has some good packages, you'll want to call, not mail though. Even then you'll only actually get in touch with a few and most won't be interested. If you are looking at this as the primary way of building your business you are doomed to failure. It should be a supplement to they system that the company already has in place.

4. You may have intention to use the list to promote your product relative to health and wellness but this technique is not advisable to do. You can get as much list as you want but there is no guarantee that the list you could have bought from someone is the same list of people who are really interested in health and wellness. It is best that you develop your own list. Use web forms. I suggest you consider using auto-responders.
