Books a training actor should read?
I've just been reading over all the different "methods" of acting on the internet and the same book list keeping coming up at the end of it. Which of this books should I read? Which method do you support and why? Are there any that I shouldn't read?

- The Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell. It explains how characters contribute to create a story. It is aimed at writers. Writers must be respected when acting. There's no point in doing a play if the actor is attempting to create their own character. Characters come from a collaboration between the writer and the actor, though the initial ignition is from the writer, not the actor. All the best :)
