Why do some people come on here and talk about everything they have/own, in list form?

And they don't even ask a question. They just say "I have....." and then they list like 100 things they have, mostly various video games, sometimes clothes or shoes, equipment , computers, electronics, gizmos, etc. Why do they do this?
