Should I and can I try to arrange out of town deals on Craig's list that would involve shipping?

I am impressed by the possibilities of Craig's list and in some cases I have gotten some good deals on there for things that I want to buy. However, since my town is smaller than a lot of the bigger cities in the area - staying local limits my selection. Should I try to look at other cities and arrange payments/shipping thru pay-pal? If so, is this allowed by Craig's list? What do you think? Please give me feedback.

1. Yes, if you need to expand your territory in order to find more/better deals, but remember you and the buyer/seller both have to have pay pal for this to work.
2. Craig's list does not handle any payment or shipping arrangements. They only allow people to advertise stuff and junk for sale. Once you find something you want, it's solely up to you (buyer) and seller to make payment and shipping arrangements.
3. my suggestion is to conatct www.shipalliance.com any time you are buying / shipping something 100 lbs or more. they go to all zip codes. they have great prices too
