Who got a bigger legendary feud against The Undertaker: Stone Cold or Shawn Michaels?

If it's up to me, then I will vote for Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels. No disrespect to Stone Cold, BTW. Two of WWE's biggest franchise wrestlers are The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Even though both wrestlers have been in the business for over 20 years, they have wrestled each other only a handful of times. Each time has been memorable though and everytime they entered the ring against each other, wrestling history was made. Here is a look back at the historic feud between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. Shawn Michaels came back to the WWE in 1997 as the special gues referee for the Summerslam main event between the Undertaker and Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Michaels vowed to call the match fairly, but after confusing circumstances he ended up nailing the Undertaker with a chair and costing him the WWE title. A few short months later, the Undertaker was looking for revenge and he introduced his newest match creation, the Hell in a Cell. With the rest of Degeneration X banned from ringside, it was up to Shawn Michaels alone to battle the Deadman in the sadtistic cell. These two become bloodied quick and Shawn Michaels was even knocked off the top of the cell and onto an announcer's table. The match ended when Undertaker's brother Kane made his debut, tore through the cell door and tombstoned the Undertaker. Shawn Michaels gained the victory, but the Undertaker felt it was undeserved. By the 1998 Royal Rumble, the Undertaker was ready for another shot at Shawn Michaels and the WWE Championship. This time, the cell was replaced with a casket and the feud was renewed again. The Undertaker was out numbered once again though and after being placed into the casket and lit on fire, the feud ended until 10 years later. The Undertaker was on another quest for WWE gold at the 2007 Royal Rumble. He was the 30th entrant and Shawn Michaels had alreayd battled through much of he match. When these two were the last ones remaining, they gave it everything they had until the Undertaker finally overcame Shawn Michaels and eliminated him from the ring to earn his first Royal Rumble victory. Shawn Michaels let that win go, but in 2009, the two would meet again in one of their biggest matches. In a feud that built up for weeks, Shawn Michaels defended his "Mr. Wrestlemania" title against the Undertaker's undefeated Wrestlemania streak. These two wrestlers stole the show in a match that extended 20 minutes and featured multiple false finishes. The Undertaker got the final notch on their feuds and evened the score to 2-2 by defeating Shawn Michaels with a tombstone. Two of the greatest wrestlers of all time are bound to create an instant classic whenever they meet. What's yours and why? 1. shawn michaels without a doubt, they had the best storylines and matches, and don't forget michaels lost 4 years of his career due to a back injurey caused by a match with the undertaker, and thats why hbk wants to beat taker at mania
  2. Taker/Shawn. I like the Austin one, but him and taker feuding made no sense. A beer drinking tough son of a b*itch who is only kind of superhuman against The Rock.. vs The Undertaker who's a "monster" "demon" with super natural powers and sh*t. If you had it on the list, i'd put Undertaker vs Kane ahead of Austin but behind Michaels. That feud is extremely UnderRated (mainly because of their reunions to tag teams/friends). Not to mentions the BEST Giant match of all time, 6'9(Taker) vs 6'8 Super Thick Soles (Kane). As time goes on though, UT/HBK doesn't seem all that stupid unless you've been around for Attitude era-present. They've got: HIAC-HBK Casket-HBK Rumble-Taker Mania-Taker It would be better if Taker had a different victory other than the Rumble though, because it's a bit spontanious. It's like saying Batista beat Cena twice, Rumble and Summerslam. THE Rivalry was Rock/Stone (get it, cos their names are things that are on the ground!) but since, it has died down and now Taker/Shawn has become THE rivalry. Only people who are Veteran Fans would know that. It's 12 years in the making, like Hart/McMahon.
  3. i say austin, austin/ taker had great fueds throughout the 90's.
  4. i think they both have a legendary feud with the undertaker. even though stone cold steve austin has had a win over the undertaker, i think shawn micheals has had a more legendary feud. why? because shawn micheals feud is more memorable.every match that shawn micheals has been in is memorable. there matches have been 5 stars. shawn micheals and the undertaker are two of the most legendary superstars ever. everytime they been getting in the ring, they have had great chemistry with each other.shawn micheals is known as the headliner, the showstopper, the main event, and the greatest performer of this generation. shawn micheals is one of the best of all time. shawn micheals has headlined many wrestlemania and set the bar for a lot of young talent. the point im trying to make is that shawn micheals is a greater asset to the company than stone cold is imo. sure stone cold is the better entertainer and he was the number 1 guy during the attitude era but his matches pale in comparison to hbk's. stone cold steve austin is good, but shawn micheals is a bigger legend. shawn micheals vs ground zero in 1997 was a 5 star match. the undertaker did what he does best and thats dominate!. shawn micheals took a load of bumps and sold really well. the undertaker did pretty good too during that match. at hell in a cell 1997, shawn micheals and the undertaker once again showed why they are the best. it was a bloody fight. the undertaker murdered shawn micheals and threw him off the announce table. ppl are still talking about it till this day. at the royal rumble 2007, they had another 5 star match doing there signature moves on another. we didnt know who was going to win. the crowd went crazy. i think shawn micheals has been one of the greatest challenges for the undertaker in a wrestling standpoint. i'll admit stone cold steve austin has had a win over the undertaker, but shawn micheals has has better matches with the undertaker. shawn micheals is a better wrestler, a better performer, and can sell better than stone cold steve austin.stone cold is just a better entertainer and has more charisma. the undertaker vs shawn micheals was one of the greatest matches in history. you cannot have a match with hbk and say that its not the best match you have ever been in.stone cold is a close second cause they been in some great matches as well.
