Help with my school newspaper article ideas?

I am applying to be editor of my school newspaper for next year, and one of the questions is: For each section you picked above (I chose Opinions, Layout/Page Design, and Arts), list article ideas that would be timely for the Year-End June issue and/or the September "Freshman" issue. Any ideas?? (I don't think I need to list things for the layout/page design category...or do I?)

1. For the year-ending issue, I would outline the Summer OPTIONS for the Graduates to consider. For the Freshman (year-beginning) issue, I would outline the school District's perspective of Needs and Requirements throughout the District. Include the District's management of these issues as a "full-circle" explaining how they connect with the ULTIMATE GOAL of the District's management.
