What are your wedding resolutions?? (List of MUST do's for the big day!)?

I began to think that I'd like to keep a regimen....focus on eating better, drinking more water, being good to my skin....is/are there things that you'd like to make sure you do before your big day? How are you preparing (minus the traditional planning) yourself for walking down the aisle? :)

  1. When my sister got married she turned into a Stephen Covey zombie. She printed out daily mission statements, and all over her house she taped up post-it notes that said things like, "Today I will strive to be the best wife I can be." Eventually she just gave up on all that junk and positive thinking.
  2. My entire focus is to remember why I am getting married, and continue to love the person I am with. I don't want to get too caught up in details and stop focusing on my relationship. That's it!
  3. Losing weight and trying to change my lifestyle (I have a lot of weight I want to lose). Will probably stop having sex w/ my fiance around March of 2009 (getting married in August). That's about it. :)
  4. My biggest goal is to keep the focus of the occasion on the marriage not the wedding. Makes all my decisions easier since what my hair will look like or my shoes matters little to the decades ahead of marriage I have before me.
  5. i took very good care of my face. i exfoliated my arms, back, neck and armpits (yes, people will see them) and applied lotion every few days. i drank more water. did pushups to tone my arms. i stopped biting my nails and let them grow. that's all i really did that was different from my usual routine. i think if you do too much, you will go insane.
  6. check bookstores like Borders or Barnes and Noble - they have entire books specified to this exact type of thing!
  7. You know, Id like to tone my tummy, but thats a personal goal, marriage or not, a eat healthier, once again personal goal not marriage oriented really. But my overall goal for my wedding is to be me. Try to stay stress free, enjoy the experience, and have a good wedding day. I dont want to look at my wedding pics in 10 years and say wow i wish I looked like that. And then think itll take me 6 months to look like that again. I want to beable to look at my wedding pics in the future and not be envious of what I once was,. My one goal for the wedding is be more graceful in heels though, so I dont end up on my face at the end of the aisle.
