How does Craig's List work? I am familiar with ebay and I checked out Craig's List and?
I am impressed that you can list for free supposedly and you can find larger stuff like bicycles in your own neighborhood (eliminating shipping)...but how does it work and how can they afford to let you list for free? I don't remember seeing an address or a phone number or email listed with the ads, but I could be mistaken on that...just the general area or suburb..

- first go to website and read info I use it but havent had time to really readall details-most people are just too busy like that------ just go to it and take a few minutes to scramble around a bit Thats honestly the only way to do it no one can really do it for you.
- Craig's list work upon the City and neighborhood that you are interested with. E.G. if you are in Salt lake City, Utah looking for bicycle Go to the main page of Craig's list -> select state (UT) from the right hand side of the screen -> Select choose the site nearest you (Salt Lake City) -> you will be directed to the Salt Lake city page that look similar to the main page but the listing within is for Salt Lake city ONLY -> below (For Sale) -> choose the option that most fit the item that you need -> When you find the item, contact the owner of the item through the method that he provide e.g. phone/email/etc. (For sending emails you will use your third party account with such yahoo/hotmail/ etc....) -> at this point you will deal with the seller one on one If you want to post an item, create an account by clicking on (My Account) -> and after creating the account click on (Post to classifieds) -> choose the posting type -> and follow the prompt Enjoy
- I'll be paying attention to your question cause I'd like to know too
