rating a player on xbox live?

Hey, Since the system change on xbox360 (with the avatars), I haven't been able to find a way of rating players that I play against online. Can someone tell me where the "prefered player" section is?! I met a couple of people last night that I'd like to rate and I can't find the list of people I have interacted with online! Any help would be great!

1. Press the XBox button on your controller and navigate down to Friends, Messages, or Party. Either of the three will do, you can then slide it to a different category of something along the lines of a 'Recently Played With' list.
