American Express is sooo cheap?

Visa decided it won't charge transaction fees if you use card to donate for the disaster happened in Haiti, on other hand American Express said they will still charge you their high fees if you donate to any other charity other than the list they provided.... at my business I do not accept American Express.

1. As a private business American Express can do whatever they want. Who cares? ..
2. Visa may not charge a transaction fee, but the cc holder pays interest. The classic American Express card does NOT charge interest, therefore a transaction fee and yearly fee from the cc holder is the only source of revenue for American Express. They ARE a business and cannot be expected to give freebies.

5. Wow that's unbelievable! That's really crazy that American Express will not work out or work something out. Hopefully they donate some of thos profits to helping out Haiti, but probably not. Thanks for sharing!
