My Speech is about how Michael Jackson Changed The Course of music and society Any help would be Appreciated. Heres my speech: As the astronauts of Apollo 11 landed on the moon's surface, another rising star was perfecting his moon walk on earth. Years later, he was known as the "King Of Pop" Michael Jackson was born in 1958 who was a singer songwriter,he was also an amazing dancer who changed the world with his passion with dancing, singing, and his effort to help the children. He was born in a poor family with a abusive father. He is immensly popular for the wierd things he has done but mainly for his music. When he released his "Thriller" Album , It was the most sold album in the world with a total of 110 million copies. The "thriller" song can be almost heard from any where , He has influence many modern day popstars like Chris Brown,Mariah Carey , Kanye west and many other popstars with his dancing and singing. Not only he was known for his music , but he was known for changing the way children lived in poor countries. He earned money and has donated $500,000,000 to 38 charities .He was eventually named in the Guiness Book of world records as the highest amount of money contributed to charties by a celebrity.His EFFORT for helping the charities got people all around the world to follow Jacksons footsteps. Jackson always wears his trademark black armband to remind fans of the suffering of children around the world. Michael has affected many people lives.The Song "Black or White" is one of the most influential songs of the Century , He also repeated "it dont matter if YOUR BLACK OR WHITE" in the song which emphasised what he had tried to do."Black and White" was top of the hit and reminds people that it dosent really matter what skin colour you are.Michael Jackson used his popularity to help fight against hunger, Global Warming and many other problems. His Fast flashy dance moves has change the course on how people dance nowadays. The iconic moves Include "the kick"........"The never ending spin"......"The Crotch Grab"............. and his best of all is the moon walk.Nearly all the Professional Dancers will know how to do michael's dance moves. He changed the way people viewed music, especially being an African American. He paved the way for so many singers/dancers that are now in the business. He truly is the "King of Pop", and he has changed music history forever.
