i like a guy in my online class, and i missed his birthday, so i'm making an e-card. how does this sound?

i like the guy, and i think he knows it. xD i wrote up a poem to make it seem more personal (bc i feel really bad about missing his birthday), so tell me if it sounds okay, or if it's really corny. a bor is a break out room. in our online class, it's like a big power point show. each slide is part of the class. we go into this "room" where we have control over certain slides. we usually get paired up with another classmate. he and i would ALWAYS be in a bor in english class. xD that's how we met actually. i call him Satou (which in japanese means sugar), and i'm taking german class, and he wanted to, so i send him random things in german and then tells him wat it means. also, anti adieu is a song by eleventyseven, and we both like the song. some of the lyrics are: 'sometimes i don't know wat to do, cuz i'm always thinking about u. all the times we had together, i hope they last forever. and every single word u ever said, goes round and round inside my head, just promise me that u'll be true, and i'll go crazy over u.' and i just moved, so i'm in dc, while he's like 3-4 hours away. xP i think that explains everything, so here's the poem: i'm srry i missed ur birthday, the time i most wanted to celebrate. so i hope u enjoy this little show, even though it's really late. x) a thousand stars in the sky, a thousand things i want to say. a thousand thank u's a thousand smiles, that all are on their way. all the breakout rooms we were in. a plan for us to be good friends. God made it obvious that we should know each other, because the bor's would never end. x) i'm thankful for each day that english class was on. except for when it was on demand. the hour seemed so long. in my entire life it seems i never quite have found a friend who came in my heart quick, and without a sound so i want to thank u Satou, for everything u've done. u always know just wat to say. u really are one in a million. i remember being so shy. never being heard. how i would talk but the mic made me sound so slurred. i know this sounds so corny, and make me seem more nerdy but anti adieu hits close to home, even though i'm in dc. xP i never told someone when i liked them for fear of something worse than no. but something tells me deep inside that u probably already know. x) so now that i have succeeded in going onto topics other than ur birthday, allow me to get back on track before i say a cliche. ;D i hope ur day was a good one! and may all ur wishes come true. happy birthday Satou, Ihr lieben Freund, dir zu =D (ur loving friend, to u) x)

1. The poem is really thoughtful and cute! I think he will really enjoy it and he will know how much time and effort you put into it! In the beginning of your question you say that you think he knows you like him... why not find out for sure!
