Why does ALL Google results have wikipedia articles listed first if they are making a Rival to it?

Even though google is making a wikipedia Rival, the wikipedia results still show up first on EVERY search? Will it still be like this only googlepedia is made?

1. The way google search engine it set up it populates the list depending on the popularity of the site, and seeing as wikipedia is very popular it pops up. Type in failure into google it used to bring up Bush.
2. No Googlepedia well probably show up ontop in the banner area. But Wikipeida well still but up high! Do you think Wikipedia search engin is not going to show google at all?
3. google picks up the best answers, and doesnt do anything to block it even if they are rivals. Since wikipedia normally has the best and most popular answers, then it displays them first. Google becomes more popular when people get the answers they want and wikipedia normally has it.
