I am using a dial-up connection from a local ISP to connect my computer to the Internet. Recently, when I tried to browse the Web, my browser did not display the desired page. List and explain each step of the procedure I need to diagnose and correct this problem.

- Absolutely definitely checking to see if your browser has been hijacked if this isn't the only site it happens with and it is getting common. Did it look like the site you ended up at could have been related or was it porn or something else nasty? If nasty, go through that first link I gave you for sure.
- Which web-browser and OS are you using? Consider upgrading from dial-up to a high-speed Internet connection. I believe that FireFox 3.0 is the best web-browser for both Mac and Windows.
