need advice--for baby shower invites?

my mother wants to see the invitation list to see if there is anyone on there that she does not like, if so she's not coming to my baby shower. the list has already been given to my hostess. when i told her my aunts and cousins were invited, she got very angry. what to do??

1. Ugh yeah, I feel your pain. That's a toughie. Well, ok, first of all this is YOUR baby shower. Not hers. You need to explain that to her. She should not be intruding in that way. She needs to understand that you can invite whomever you would like and she should NOT be putting up a fit about it. But if you are going to confront her about it, sit down and explain to her how you feel. She's your mom - she'll understand. Good Luck!! Rocky
