Libs: What is the reason The New York Times Best Seller list has Palins book listed as BEST NON-FICTION?

1. Ask the McCain campaign.
2. Because it's a list of best sellers - books which have had the most sales. The New York Times reports the truth occasionally you know.

5. The same reason "An Inconvenient Truth" is listed as non-fiction or a documentary.
6. It is a list of the best sellers. You know, the "New York Times Best Seller List". Pretty hard to miss the existence of that.
7. Because it is selling like hotcakes. And it is supposed to be non fiction. She thinks it is anyway. The New York Times has had a best seller list for a long time. They report those books that are selling the most. Has nothing to do with content.
8. If that is true, that is hilarious. They discounted the book before it came out. Normally, books that gain that title on their own merit are not discounted for a year or so. Maybe the cons are using the pages for toilet paper out in the woods when they hunt moose?

11. The NY Times has been known to make stupid mistakes. Palin's book is a blessing for fact checkers, because now they have work for the next year or so.
12. Truth is, they determine the best sellers by the number of copies ordered by bookstores, not the eventual sales. Which is how all sorts of nutty books get on the best seller list.

15. Why not? And more importantly, who cares? You do realize that in the book she speaks critically about how the campaign was run, and how McCain's handlers messed up. In other words it is her trashing others for losing the election, her way of saying "It was all their fault" instead of taking personal responsibility for her "bridge to no where" lie and the turn off of the public from her hate Obama rallies.
16. I guess everyone wants the book to read about her bashing the McCain campaign. Can't believe she would turn on her own party like that. Bashing her party to make a bunch of money. This speaks about her true character.
17. I don't know phony, why don't you tell us why the Babble is the best selling book of all time or why it is considered non-fiction when it is clearly fiction?
