I have to read a book off the banned book list, any ideas?

i want it to be a love story! and not too long. for an assignment in class we get to choose any book that has been banned somewhere in some shape or form, any help picking one? i want one that isn't too long, and i would prefer a love story!

1. To what "banned" list might you be referring? If your individual school or library has "banned" a given book, simply go get it at the public library. If the public library doesn't have it on the shelf currently, get on the waiting list or request it via interlibrary loan. ~Dr. B.~

4. There are several lists of banned books. From your other requirements, I'd suggest FOREVER by Judy Blume, EAST OF EDEN by John Steinbeck, FAREWELL TO ARMS by Hemingway, LOLITA by Nabokov These are all on many banned lists
