I have a problem in Yahoo Messenger, bots have been sending me messages using addies from my contact list.?

I have changed my password, and have told the people on my contact list to do the same! I keep getting messages from the bots! The real contacts can still send me messages but its a pain! Any ideas? They are using the same address as my contacts even though both the contacts in question and myself have changed passwords. I think its a virus/worm. I am using Avast to clear viruses but its not working on this one. The contacts whose address is used can still use it but I get spam from that same address. Huge pain in the you know what! Any ideas? Thanks

1. To block individual senders in Messenger, go to Messenger > Preferences > Ignore List, and add the IM name or e-mail of the person you wish to block. Click Add, then OK or Apply. If you receive contact requests from unknown persons (bots), go to the Ignore List and check 'Ignore anyone who is not on my contact list.' and save.
