The best movies of all time? (easy 10 points)?

I am now in a film history class. I have a project which is to write a 5 paragraph review once every 2 weeks on a movie. I also have to make a top 10 movie list of mine and give descriptions of the movie and why I like it. What I need your help with is to compile a list of movies I should see. I want to be a film director when I get older so I am taking this class a bit seriously. Please give me a list of some of the best movies of all time. Nothing before 1939 please. Thanks so much. 10 points to person who gives me some movies I choose to write about. I have already all the Martin Scorsese movies that are good becides Taxi Driver. So don't add those because I already know those movies basically own...
