Happy Birthday to Damon Albarn! Favorite Blur and Gorillaz songs?

English musician Damon Albarn turns 42 today. He rose to fame as Blur's vocalist and principal songwriter. The influential alternative/Britpop band released several hit singles, including "Beetlebum," "Country House," "Girls & Boys," "No Distance Left to Run," and worldwide sensation "Song 2," and engaged in a high-profile rivalry with Oasis. Albarn later co-created virtual band Gorillaz with artist Jamie Hewlett. The third Gorillaz album, Plastic Beach, was released this month to glowing reviews and features collaborations with Lou Reed, Mos Def, and Snoop Dogg. Albarn also formed an untitled supergroup with The Clash's Paul Simonon, The Verve's Simon Tong, and Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen. They released an album called The Good, the Bad & the Queen. 1. Woohoo!!! Song 2 is my favorite song by Blur, and (sadly) one of the only ones I'm familiar with at the moment. However, I'm a huge HUGE Gorillaz fan! My favorite song by them is probably Dirty Harry, although I also love Don't Get Lost in Heaven, and Rhinestone Eyes (although it's still fairly new, so I don't know if I can say it's my favorite EVER...)

3. Love Albarn, as evidenced by my pic. Great musician, one of my favorites up there with Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood & Josh Homme. Some of my favorite songs by him are Nature Springs, Feel Good Inc., El Manana, On Melancholy Hill & Tender.
