What are 3 reasons why anyone would risk theirs lives to do something great?

Please list at least two examples. Thanks.

1. I personally don't value my life very highly. I would risk a lot of the benefit of others. Like rescuing people from a fire, I would feel terrible if I didn't help somebody.
2. 1. Because it's the right thing Ex. Saving someone from danger or death 2. To accomplish something Ex, Breaking records ( See Chris Angel,etc.) 3. Also might be for glory, I guess.
3. For adventure, to get reconized, and for money
4. adrenaline rush heroism
5. the way you have it worded, seems like adventure , well if i had credentials and were a doctor or somegreat scientist,i would risk my life for theory or to wander in the jungles of south america or somewhere to find a cure for something, sure, it would be great an experiment, perhaps saving lives in the bargin, Or just for adventure or and money, depends, you know,great stunts,something different, something never done before, i am not talking here about who can eat the most hotdogs,or most apple pies, you know sail across the ocean, in a life raft or something,even a conventional craft,but sail around the world or something, sure why not, for the fun and excitment, but one does risk their lives somewhat everyday,
