Will a person know if I removed him/her from my Friends list?

I want to remove a colleague of mine from my friends list. Will Facebook tell him that I did so?

1. NO it wont, my sister removed me, it gave me no notice
2. They can either search for you and then find that it will say 'Add as friend' unless you blocked and deleted the, in which case, they wll not be able to search for you or see you on other frinds pages, as will you.
3. When you remove someone from your list of friends on Facebook, you are automatically removed from theirs. Although Facebook doesn’t notify its users that someone removed them as a friend, they still can deduce that this happened by noticing an absence in their own list of friends.
